Some gals have closets full of purses, while others—like me—are all about glasses. Blue-light lenses, MTB glasses, polarized sunglasses, you name it. My collection isn’t organized like a designer closet, but let me tell you, it’s bubbling over my shelves.
My addiction to shades is for good reasons. Like most of us, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I’m skiing down my Montana slopes in the winter and paddling down home rivers during the summer—activities that can be hard on the eyes, since both snow and water reflect sunlight, which can cause harm or damage your eyes. And my computer screen is no different. As a writer who spends eight or more hours a day at the keyboard, protective glasses are an essential part of my daily work fit.
