Fan who fell at PNC Park awake, shows ‘progress’
Kavan Markwood, the 20-year-old who slipped off a railing during the seventh inning of the Pittsburgh Pirates’ 4-3 win over the Chicago Cubs Wednesday night, is awake and alert, according to Jennifer Phillips, who is organizing a fundraiser for the fan.
