Blues cruise past Rangers in Montgomery’s debut
Jim Montgomery, fired by the Boston Bruins just last week, won in his debut as St. Louis’ new coach on Monday night, when the Blues skated to a 5-2 victory over the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden that featured three third-period goals.
