Sources: Gophers to hire Medved as hoops coach

Minnesota is expected to hire Minneapolis native and Colorado State coach Niko Medved as its next coach, sources told ESPN’s Jeff Borzello and Pete Thamel. Medved’s season ended Sunday as the Rams lost at the buzzer to 4-seed Maryland.
