Once again, Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the Super Bowl! This time to face the formidable Philadelphia Eagles at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, AZ on February 12, 2023.
This match-up marks the first time ever that two black quarterbacks are slated to start the game.
Brothers Travis and Jason Kelce will be the first pair of brothers to face each other in a Super Bowl. Take that Eli & Payton!
The game marks the 57th Super Bowl, and the third time Arizona is hosting the festivities in the Phoenix area.
R&B star Rihanna is the halftime performer, with country star Chris Stapleton singing the National Anthem and another R&B great, Babyface, singing “America the Beautiful.”
The Valley also hosts the legendary PGA tournament, the Phoenix Open, the same week as Super Bowl.
