Francis flirts with 1st no-hitter, Blue Jays win

Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Bowden Francis, making just the eighth start of his career, took a no-hitter into the ninth inning Saturday, leading his club to a 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Angels, as the veteran 28-year-old right-hander improved to 7-3.
